Fresh Start’s staff is unique in that after completing a three month probationary period, each non-administrative employee is eligible to become a member of the Corporation. Voted in by the other members and upon approval by the Board of Directors, members benefit from inclusion in member meetings, gaining voting privileges, participating in member-appreciation social outings, as well as are entitled through their working efforts to receive periodic gifts and bonuses to celebrate company success.

Membership meetings occur four times per year with the primary focus on informing the membership of company happenings, board and committee updates, succession planning, and to celebrate employee achievements. While meetings are not mandatory, attendance is highly encouraged so all business matters requiring quorum can be met.

Community representative directors of the Corporation gain membership status during their time in office. Membership is revoked at the time a director voluntarily leaves the board or at such time when a director’s term is complete.
